All of the many illustrations in this early book are old “wood cuts”. Including Dog vs. Monkey, Bear Baiting, Waterford Jack, Crib and Fighting Pig Pape and more. In the back of the book are advertisements for many unusual sporting supplies, including cock spurs, police clubs, magic tricks, loaded dice, S&W 38's for $12.50, and a Remington rifle cane for $10.00.
